Nine years ago, Strategic Doing, a model for collaborative strategy, was introduced in Cheyenne County. Since that time, groups and organizations have turned ideas into projects that are well on their way or completed. With the assistance and guidance of Betty Johnson from the Dane Hansen Foundation and leaders in the area, many accomplishments have been made benefitting the communities of Cheyenne County.

The Ninth Annual Strategic Doing Forum of Cheyenne County will take place at the Legion Hall in Bird City, Kansas on Wednesday, October 11 at 6:30 p.m. The community is invited to attend and use the opportunity to learn about what is happening and what is planned for the future to help Cheyenne County to stay vital and continue to grow.
