Seven years ago, Strategic Doing, a model for collaborative strategy, was introduced in Cheyenne County. Since that time, groups and organizations have turned ideas into projects that are well on their way or completed. With the assistance and guidance of Betty Johnson from the Dane Hansen Foundation and leaders in the area, many accomplishments have been made benefitting the communities of Cheyenne County.
Ms. Johnson will be returning to the county to lead the Seventh Annual Strategic Doing Forum of Cheyenne County at the Bird City Legion Hall, Bird City, Kansas on Tuesday, September 21 at 7 p.m. The community is invited to attend. Use the opportunity to learn about what is happening and what is planned for the future to help Cheyenne County to stay vital and continue to grow.
During Ms. Johnson’s two-day stay, she will be meeting individually with groups to discuss their specific projects. Some of those groups include 202 on Washington, Cheyenne County E-Community, Cheyenne County Museum and Historical Society, Tri-State Antique Engine and Thresher Association, Cheyenne County Leadership, Early Childhood Care, and Cheyenne County Economic Development.
If you are interested in meeting with Ms. Johnson to discuss a project or idea, contact Tom Keller from the Cheyenne County Strategic Doing Committee at 785-332-3991 or email@example.com.
